XVI. Gathering Moss by Robin Wall Kimmerer

In this collection of essays moss is presented in its scientific, cultural, spiritual, and aesthetic totality.
There are some difficulties with her approach: her attempt to bring in the personal , though it does bring the reader to a familiarity with the author (and her overall scheme), burdens the text a bit.
If you think moss is groovy you will appreciate the love that the author saturates throughout that makes this collection worth reading.
